Ex-Or

There was a time when lighting was just about illumination. Today, it’s still about lighting spaces to create comfortable and productive environments, but not at any cost. Ex-Or lighting controls switch lights off when no one’s there, and dim or switch them off when there’s enough natural light. So they help you save on your energy costs – sometimes as much as 70%, year after year.

System Overview

Smaller Systems

  • Up to 6 x RB2000 bus power supply
  • Up to 127 Intelligent LCMs per RB2000
  • Up to 500 MLS Zones
  • Up to 500 EM Test Channels
    (dependent on MLS Zones)
  • Max 1 Emergency Device per LCM Channel

Medium to Large Systems

  • Up to 13 x RB2000 bus power supply
  • Up to 127 Intelligent LCMs per RB2000
  • Up to 1,250 MLS Zones
  • Up to 1000 EM Test Channels
    (dependent on MLS Zones)
  • Max 1 Emergency Device per LCM Channel

Applications - Commercial Office

The Pluggable LCM is ideal for all areas with suspended ceilings. A mixture of open-plan and cellular offices is shown but if, at any point, any area requires re-configuring, it is a simple matter to re-patch and re-plug sensors and switches or to add more as required. Choosing a dimming-version LCM allows luminaires adjacent windows to regulate according to natural light levels.

MLS-enabled versions of the LCM offer numerous operational enhancements. Flexible zoning of lights allows notional corridors, for example, to be created (see MLS Digital brochure for full details and further options).

MLS Connect Digital Remote PIR Sensors

  • The range of PIR sensors offer enhanced sensitivity and range:
  • 7m Micro Detection,
  • 10m Macro Detection.
  • The range includes variants with tilting lenses with Mid-Bay and Hi-Bay versions for mounting at height.
  • All the following are available in flush and surface mount versions:
  • Hard-Wired Intelligent Lighting Control Modules support a range of dedicated high-performance lighting control sensors to deliver premium energy saving and enhanced comfort and productivity.
  • Sensors contain a photocell to monitor total light levels, allowing the light output of dimmable luminaires to be adjusted to suit the level of natural light available.

LS3000DF

Features and benefits

  • High definition lenses, performance optics and software are all optimised to provide class leading sensitivity and occupancy detection ensuring that the lights are always on when required.
  • LightSpot HD Dimming sensors include integral photocells which will hold the lights off in occupied areas or switch them off at a given light level. Regulating photocells enable a constant light level to be maintained through analogue or digital dimming.
  • LightSpot HD sensors deliver highly sensitive micro detection diameter of 7m within a 10m macro detection diameter (when installed at a mounting height of 2.5m).
  • LightSpot HD sensors are optimised for a range of mounting heights up to 16 metres.
  • Automatic detection of DALI and DSI digital dimming type luminaires reduces commissioning time and minimises errors in commissioning.
  • Powerful and easy to use QuickSet and QuickSet Pro commissioning tools simplify and even automate parts of the process with straightforward copy and paste of parameters.

LS3100RF
